Health By Means of 2 easy natural habits!
I work in
Software Industry, and I a little bit over weight but I have none of the life style disorders so far. I
also eat whatever food that I love and do very little exercise. So, you
may wonder why am continue to be healthy in my 40s!
I believe, it is because of the following four habits that I follow for the last 10 -15 years!. Here are them:
1. Removal of Mucus.
I think it is very important that, before you take preventive and
suppressing medicines to control Cough, you have your body at least 1–2
days for the removal of Mucus(Kabh). I believe, Mucus ultimately get
generated from your blood, and it is a natural way by your body to
remove impurities, excess fat etc from your bloodstream. So, please stop
the urge to take a cough syrup immediately the cough starts. It is same
case with a Running Nose(Jaladosham). Give it enough time before you
take any medicine.
In
my case, I normally get rid of running nose/cough and even mild fever
by taking hot water at regular intervals. You may not believe when I say
that, I did not take a single Paracetamol tablet for the last 10 or so
years!. That may be extreme or I may have to take in an emergency, but
my above habits helps to reduce the fat content in the blood stream and
cholesterol is what I believe.
If
you can work from home for example, take a two days wfh in the
first/second days of infection and in those days you can try to get rid
of maximum Mucus and then, take the suppressant medicines. Gargling with
mild hot and salty water is one of the best ways to get rid of mucus. I
also eat Thulsi leaves regularly and I believe it adds to my health.
2. Removal of Urine/Stool.
Many of us lead very hectic lifestyles and when there is an urge to go
to the loo, may try to control it for many reasons. But, if you stop the
natural urge, you are stopping the proper way of removal of impurities
from your body. Also, in long time, the mechanism itself gets effected
by your stop the urge habit. So, try to avoid it as much as possible.
I
feel, it is very good, if you can get a drink of 1–2 glass of clean
water, every time after you visit the toilet. It helps to maintain the
health of the system.
As
a long distance traveller from home to work, I normally travel in my
own vehicle and one of the consideration of doing so is to avoid waiting
too long to go to the loo! Having my own transport means I can stop
where I wanted to and can pack lot of healthy snacks and water for use
in stoppages.
